I have been using this app since July of last year, initially the app was a lil buggy but every update it gets better. It’s nice to connect with fellow watch enthusiasts 👊🏾.

This is the best watch group I have ever experienced. I’ve been on multiple discord, Facebook, and other groups on the internet. I would say even once I wanted to like a lot have always had an air of watch snob and toxicity. I have experienced none of that in the WatchCrunch group. Everyone is respectful and just seems to love watches altogether. From Pagani Design to Grand Seiko. Rolex to Timex. if it happens to tell the time, you’re gonna have a good time here.

I’ve been using their web platform for some time now. Stoked that there is finally a mobile app. Version two is smooth as well. So glad this app exists.

How did they manage to fork up iOS text fields? Did they try to write their own from scratch? Seems like it. Basic text selection doesn’t even work.

Must have if you enjoy watches. Hands down the best community on the internet and the app is actually pretty good.

1) Give someway to reduce the horizontal width of the main browsing scrolling window. I use WatchCrunch in landscape mode with a 11” iPad and Smart Keyboard. When scrolling through posts, if the post has images, it takes up the entire vertical space so that I can only see at most 2 posts at the same time. There should be 2 scrolling areas, perhaps somewhat like the default Mail app on the iPad (or even GMail app). 2) There’s something funky with the text entry when using either virtual keyboard or iPad Smart Keyboard. Whenever I try to select a block of text, it doesn’t behave well and it’s incredibly painful to do this. I notice the changed green cursor. Whatever that is, please get rid of it and use the default iPadOS text selection mechanism. Otherwise I’m enjoying the app.
