I’m trying hard to play this game without spending any of my own money. The Summons I am getting isn’t worth rolling for. The ones that I consider worth having just don’t appear.

What a game

Just give it a try and you won’t regret it

Beware false rates

Firstly, the game has improved many aspects of RSL which just got so predatory. This is a reskin of RSL but still in its early days and so is more generous with energy(stamina) to do daily tasks and farm gear. Farming gear takes forever to actually get anything barely useable, with ancient drop rates ( best gear which rolls good stats) at about 1/500 chance so you might get one piece per week if you are lucky. Game is 80% gear 20% heroes tbh. But then that 20% on the heroes still has a big impact. There are several heroes that are so far ahead of the rest that they become almost essential for progression. Unfortunately the great heroes (not lords) have been given a very low drop rate even though they are in the same ‘bucket’ of heroes. So basically they state that a Lego hero is about 0.5% ish and there’s about 40-50 legendary heroes all in that category, BUT it simply isn’t true, the top 5 heroes have a lot lower chance of being obtained so the same trash legendary heroes keep being found. This is the issue with the game. Manipulated rates, and the fact really that they don’t balance the heroes, you wouldn’t mind so much if all heroes could be used and maybe a 10% power diff between them, but as I said the top 5 are literally game breaking. So really my advice, don’t spend on this game, it’s just a con, even though it has potential to be better than RSL the shady rates are a big put off.

Repetitive but ok.

As above, it’s very repetitive, getting the characters to level up involves doing a lot of the same levels to earn exp, as is normal for these games, but at least it’s quite entertaining and looks good. The characters voices get a bit annoying as they repeat themselves every time they use an ability too. So far the pvp matchmaker has been ok with similar level players for me to fight and there is an auto fight feature too, which helps with the repetition.

Both Arena and Guild Wars are beyond terrible. Don’t get this game if you want good PvP, only get for PvE content. I have warned you.

Terrible Customer Service

I have been enjoying this game for around 9 months, the general game play and dynamics are were strong. However new heroes are released every couple of weeks. The likelihood is you will have to spend money to get many of them, which is fine, it’s a customers choice. However what is not fine is for the game developers to then adjust, weaken or change characters you have been “sold” as great, at point of purchase and not refund you the money invested in a character. This honestly is starting to feel like a scam to get people to part with cash and then the devs change game dynamics to push you do it all again. Do yourself a favour and avoid the game, the way the customer service reps respond in game to complaints and valid concerns is laughable and the customer service is appalling.
