Water Reminder uses HealthKit in order to record drinking data to Nutrition section in Health application. The app requests access to the following data types: Water, Caffeine, Protein, Dietary Energy, Fat, Carbs and Sugars. When you add a drink to the app - it automatically sends to Health app the following nutritional information of that drink: water, caffeine, protein, calories, fat, carbs and sugars content. The synchronization with Apple Health can be switched off in the application Settings.

As a Water Reminder app user, you can choose the subscription plan that best suits your needs. Our Premium 1-year subscription plan offers unlimited access to all drinks, notification sounds, app widget, watch and remove all advertising in exchange for a single payment. In addition, 1-month subscription is available for users. For your convenience, subscriptions are set to automatically renew within the 24-hour period prior to the subscription end date. You can cancel your subscription at any moment in your iTunes account settings but refunds will not be provided for any unused portion of the terms. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

Great app, however…

10/10 app!! Just wished that they created a widget for the lock screen!! I’d love that, kinda a tracker of how much to drink before reaching goal

why

this app does what it does but why the hell do u have to offer the premium version in my face every time i want to plot my water like what the hell seriously?? money just to get access to all the other options

It is really good it reminds me to have a drink every day :)

Basic but OK

I tried the free trial of the premium version but cancelled before payment was due. The basic app is a great way to record the volume of your drinks and when Drawback of the premium version is that it has a very limited selection of drinks to choose from and you are not able to add your own.

Have some suggestions

Great app it helps me track my WATER I said it like that because you have to PAY to have extra drinks not really fair

Nightmare of constant interruption

I know the trade off is ads for the free app but this is unusable because if the sheer volume of interruptions - mostly trying to get you to sign up to premium. Intensely annoying.

Too expensive

Ridiculously expensive for what it is. The free version only gives you water and is very manual, not worth the effort of downloading it

Helpful

I hate drinking water. It induces panic and is a form of Aquaphobia. This app helps in at least reminding me to drink often (I can go days without otherwise) which useful not last as I only have 1 kidney. It doesn’t make drinking it any easier but little and often certainly more successful than any other attempted method. Few of us drink our personal recommended daily water intake. I doubt I ever will but some better than none…

Decent usable app

I use the app most days and it’s a good way to track water intake. The ways of inputting water is easy and good UI design. The let down of the app is not that in app purchases are popping up but the fact that when they appear it pauses any music. The pop up has no audio to play instead it just pauses the audio. This may be a bug but it’s a major inconvenience and does make me question my continued app usage!
