Watersports tracker - the best app dedicated to watersports such as: kayaking, canoe and rafting, windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing, sup, sailing and yachting.
After each session you can see it on the map and check detailed statistics of your session such as:
- distance
- duration
- max speed
- average speed
New features:
- playback session and analyse it in details
- save notes about each session
- analyse heart rate data throughout your workout
- saving data to Health app
- updating activity rings
- audio feedback on distance and duration every mile/kilometer
This app uses subscriptions for pro features for periods: 1 Year, 6 Months, 3 Months.
– Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
– Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
– Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, it will be charged the price of subscription you have chosen
– Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase
This app also uses Health app to provide:
- heart rate data
There is also an option to track your sessions with your phone but remember you need to use good waterproof case for that because iPhone is not water proof.

Unusable in the water.
For a water sports app it should be usable in the water. Other apps like dawn patrol have figured out ways to be usable by turning the crown and more. With water droplets on the screen you can’t get back into water mode, you can’t pause a session, you can’t end a session. You have to wait until you can dry your watch face and your finger. You guys need to learn how to add the crown to functionality.

Great Application
I have been using this application for three years to track all my paddling sessions. I have to say I love the ability to look at my next paddling location and check the weather via this app. It does make planning very simple. Some of the new features that have been added that I really do appreciate is being able to track the total mileage of all my sessions along with looking at how much I’ve done per year. I just have to say I’m glad this application exists and it does make my ability to track everything so simple.
Annoying change
The app is good and I wouldn’t mind a one time purchase but I don’t really want to pay a subscription. I can no longer post my route to Facebook without a subscription. Will look for another app. UPDATE: After the developer responded, I patiently waited for the update and it finally came, however it did not fix my problem that I complained about.
Used for outrigger
I will be great if the up will connect with my heart rate.
Works well, but it is still missing something
I use it for standup paddle board, and it certainly records a good amount of metrics, but it is still missing metrics related to paddling, like strokes per minute, total strokes, etc.
Great App for Tracking Kayaking
This App is great, it does everything I need. Tracks my routes, works between phone and watch, shows my distance, and speed. Glad I found it!
Doesn’t work!
I’d like to like this app, but it doesn’t sync to iPhone! It doesn’t add a workout to the Fitness app and it’s data doesn’t appear in the Health app.
Value
The analysis and functions you get for the paid subscription are not worth the price. The free version provides the speed, distance, and time which is enough.
