Description

By the year 2050, almost 10 billion people will be living on our planet. To provide all these people with nutritious food – within the boundaries of our planet – we need to produce this food in a sustainable way.
Animal proteins are highly nutritious and an important part of a balanced, healthy diet. However, the growing demand for animal protein is driving up greenhouse gas emissions and it puts pressure on our natural resources. This needs to change.
That’s why, at DSM, we want to make the production of animal protein more sustainable. So we can bring better health through nutrition to our growing world population – and at the same time keep our planet healthy.
Visit each of the six sustainability platform in the virtual reality experience to learn more about how animal farming can become more sustainable.
