No files sync to watch and the ui is horrendously outdated and does not fit on any new iPhone screen past the iPhone 8. Money down the drain.

Nice idea but the Apple Watch screen only stays on for 70 seconds maximum. So it’s no good for my watch. £1.99 down the drain.

Exactly the kind of awkward, nonfunctional nonsense which should have been filtered out from Ap Store.

Been waiting for an app like this. It’s great I can read ePub books on my watch now ! An excellent app

Rarely give 5 stars eve reviews even for great apps because they look like fakes! ...but I'm so enthusiastic about this one I have. For starters anyway. I read as a stress buster. Frequently a phone/kindle not appropriate. This plugs that hole! Works great but see my limitations: 1. Of course there are rights issues with many books. Nothing the developer can do about that. Source your books from non Kindle sources. Gutenberg or something. 2. It hung a few times trying to get the first book on. Once on there were no issues. It could be internet dependent? 3. It would be nice to have some mechanism to sync with reading the book on the phone? Read sometimes on the phone sometimes watch? That said this app does one job and does it beautifully so they don't want muck that up!!!

App is useless. I got 4 words of a 18 page pdf read in 5 minutes. It buffers between words. This is the slowest read ever.

Wear Reader does not open on my Apple Watch. This is a big disappointment having paid for the app. I have tried restarting the Apple Watch etc. but to no avail. A big disappointment.

It's a wonderful application. Change the view to traditional and it would work like iBooks completely on your wrist. :) Amazing app indeed.

If this app ever goes away it’s going to be a bad day for me. I use this app all the time to read on the sly with my watch. I work in a place with a ton of meetings and presentations that drone on and on. Instead of dying of boredom I can simply assume a relaxed position looking down towards my watch and read discreetly. No phone in my hands so nobody really knows that I’m doing it. I’ve been using this app since its early android war days and switched to Apple Watch as soon as a version of this app was available on iOS. You have to be patient with this app, it’s a little out of date and the formatting of books tends to be a little persnickety. Generally it will take most normally formatted EPUB books. When you sync books to the watch do them one at a time and keep both apps open for the best chance of success. Obviously it works best with smaller file sizes so don’t try any books with images or interactive content. I’ve read probably 50+ books with this app and counting. Please keep it going!

I couldn’t upload any books, no matter the file format. the idea is cool but this needs bugs to be worked out
