Weathercaster: Met Weather App

This is the best weather app I’ve used, especially for backcountry camping and hiking where I can get a weather report for a very precise pinpoint location. It helps me make critical decisions on my hikes. The format is much easier to read than the weather channel and accuweather.

Accurate and easy to read weather. The graphing is nice to look at as well as informative. Landscape gives a good view of how your upcoming week’s forecast. Highly recommend.

Weathercaster is worth $ 25 Weather in an easy format and the creator just keeps improving it. I asked for a resort on Islamadora and it came right up. Just amazing.

In a crowded field, it’s natural to wonder what another weather app could possibly offer. Well, it turns out quite a bit. While some offer eye candy but are light on actual content, and others overwhelm you with a tsunami of data, Weathercaster strikes the perfect balance. I love being able to see forecasts for all the places I care about, all in one screen without requiring any interaction. And that, if I want more detail, I can delve in and get hourly metrics on everything, including wind direction. This is a brand new app, and I’m sure it’ll only getter better over time. I’m looking forward to seeing it evolve. Given the choices the designers made in v1, I think it’s headed in the right direction.

There is just so much data in a concise space, I really feel I can plan my picnic with confidence.

Best app for hourly forecasts. Simple and clean, but with more detail than those basic graphic weather apps. I use it everyday!

This weather app provides all the weather information I need on one easy to read screen. With other apps I’m scrolling and changing pages to get to the info that Weathercaster puts in one place.
