Great app
Catholic bible
This is a great app and I I love it however, if I had one thing to improve, you would be able to search for a verse directly, instead of having to look up the book in the Bible and then find the chapter and verse… other than that it’s a wonderful app
Very Good Translation
The use of different words at times make understanding the vrs o paragraph much easier.
Long, loud video ads with skimpy outfits
I just got done watching a long video ad featuring a cartoon girl, running with a belly shirt on her huge chest and short shorts. I’m surprised the video didn’t show her bouncing as she ran. It’s completely inappropriate for a bible ap. I used to like this app, but there is no way to pay for it to get rid of these inappropriate ads. But this version of the Bible does use the name Yahweh.
Pop up adds
Obtrusive pop up adds with audio have ruined this app
Looking for a Bible with plenty of ads and commercials?!
This Bible app was awesome in the beginning, in that it’s straight forward Scripture. Not a lot of frills. I do use other apps for research. Then they started adding all kinds of ads. Then it became a 20-30 second commercial every time you open it. Today, forgetting that, I opened it in church to check out what the WEB said in the verse my pastor was speaking on. The app breaks into a nice blaring commercial, so of course, I closed it immediately. So it’s useless in church since it cuts back to ads all throughout use, and you never know when another one is coming. I get home and open it…after waiting through a game ad, it pops up with a nice “Sunday Warning” that it’s Sunday and you should turn your computer volume down not to disturb people. BE FORE WARNED.
Annoying gaming advertising
I have used this app for years and it has been an invaluable resource. I quit using it because of the long annoying gaming advertisements.
Absolutely love this.
Periodically, I like to reference the WEB for better translation, and have suddenly found myself using this as my primary online Bible. The settings allow to customize it to my needs, in addition to track my progress etc. I’ve tried many other Bible apps but this is the perfect one for me.
