Week Calendar - Smart Planner

Ive been using Week Cal since 2011. Now with the new update, I have to pay a subscription to use the app. I’ll be finding new app for my events.

I'm not getting any event notifications and I set like 7 of them

With the last update 3 days ago the big widget is stuck on Thursday the 26th, today is Sunday the 29th. It won’t change.

UPDATE: Most of my friends and associates - including myself - do not like the fact that the app forces us to allow access to our other calendars. We’ve been using one calendar for work and one for home. We’ve keep them in the same group so access is easy. Depending on which has more activity, we use the busy schedule for WeekCal. Now, it places everything into WeekCal, and is confusing. It’s one thing to offer it, but when the app freezes and places a bouncer at the door saying, “You can’t enter unless you allow us to see your system calendar!”, THAT’S when I decide I’m going to go searching for another calendar. This is a game-changer for me. All the bells and whistles aren’t worth forcing your users to do something they don’t want to do. This makes me believe it is all about tracking us. No, I don’t want to add more calendars within the weekcalendar; that just complicates things further! This has messed up my entire system! I hate it and I refuse to play along! OLDER REVIEW: "see icons as dots" is still backwards. I know it's nothing, but for some reason unexplained, I'm obsessing over it. 😊 ☀☀☀☀OLDER REVIEWS☀☀☀☀ I hate being the bearer of bad news (actually I like it) but the "see icons as dots" is backwards in the regular month calendar prefs. When you ENABLE "see icons as dots", you see dots as icons. Furthermore (the bad news never stops), when I tried switching the switch on "see icons as dots" so I could see icons as icons, my app crashed. Not to worry though. It came back up...AND... as I suspected, the icons were not dots. The icons were icons, which is a nice feature (backward as it may be). If I see any more problems, I'll be sure to run right in here and share the bad news so EVERYBODY can go back to their calendars and check it out for themselves. Good job on the calendar, though. It's my favorite app...AND...every time I make appointments at checkout counters, I tell people about this app. The DEVS have ME to thank for their expensive cars and valuable jewelry that were bought by all the money my peeps spent on this app. You're quite welcomed.  Earlier reviews: I have a lot of appointments that I must keep track of. It's frustrating when I have to enter all of the data. I often missed appointments because I entered the wrong date, time, forgot to set the reminders, or forgot to turn on the alerts. It was especially annoying to people in line behind me. Because there was so much information to enter I resolved to

This is one of the few apps that I was willing to pay for and I loved it, until one of the recent updates is now forcing me to pay a monthly subscription if I want to continue to use the app. Deleting.

I loved this app, but on the most recent update, it wants me to pay monthly/yearly for all the features that I had previously already paid a one-time fee for when I first bought and downloaded the app YEARS ago. That’s just messed up. If users already paid for these features years ago, they should be grandfathered in.

Keep it simple stupid. This is absolutely the best Calendar you will ever use on iOS and or android devices.

Repeating events - I can delete one in a series but then it re-spawns itself. Cant stop this behavior.
