Weekly Chefs FAQ
Is Weekly Chefs free?
Yes, Weekly Chefs is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Weekly Chefs legit?
🤔 The Weekly Chefs app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
I like this app, it gives me what I want which is a simple record for my weekly meal plan. I have no interest in breaking down nutrition or anything complicated, so this app serves my needs. What I would love to see, though, is an ability to customize the tags. Ex. I can tag a meal as ‘vegetarian’ ‘healthy’ ‘quick’ ‘good for guests’ etc. I’m vegetarian, so literally all my meals are vegetarian. This tag is useless for me. But I’m not gluten-free, for example, so having a gluten-free tag would be great (or any other dietary restriction), so if I have a guest who doesn’t eat gluten, then I could easily search for a suitable meal.
So easy and intuitive
I have tried several meal planning apps and found them overly complicated. This one is perfect for someone that just wants to plan dinner. I love how you can copy and paste the recipe link!
Pretty good
It would be easier if the weeks were dated instead of numbered. And it would be nice to be able to edit entries on the grocery list. Other than that, it’s a good app!
Needs something more.
Interesting so far. Wondering if there would be a way to make it so you can have a grocery list for each meal automatically after copying the link? And then having an option to add the grocery list for that meal to the overall grocery list.
crashing
This was a great planning tool until recently when it started crashing every time I'd attempt to access the website affiliated with the recipe I had picked for each day. I've offloaded and downloaded the app multiple times but cannot get it to resume its normal function.
Update: developers emailed to let me know they’ve submit a fix to Apple so fingers crossed it will work. I appreciate being contacted by them nonetheless:)
Basic but useful
There’s a few things I wish this app had, like ingredient lists within each day instead of just a grocery list. I also wish you could delete a week if you accidentally add one, so it doesn’t keep going to the “new” week that doesn’t exist. But overall very good.

Absolutely Incredible
I’ve been on this app for less then a minute and I’m still waiting for the part where it asks me to purchase something to add more weeks... I’m up to 22 weeks and nothing! This is incredible and so many options! Thank-you for making such an easy way to help plan meals for the family (or whoever) and all organized in one place. I love it and I would pay for it but glad I don’t have to!
Good App-want more
It would be nice to be able to switch to a 30/day calendar view to view my meal plans.
Also please add a function to switch recipes among days. Then I wouldn’t have to delete a day and type it again.
So convenient!
Amazing... you see your whole week at a glance. If you copy the recipe’s link, when you enter a new meal, it asks if you want to use the link you have copied and then updated everything automatically: picture, name of the recipe etc...
To think about... it could be great to add personalized categories or change the title of the day (e.g. change day 1 for Sunday)
Also when you copy a link it does not always recognize it
