Cash Prizes for Weight Loss

Published by: HealthyWage

Description

Win up to $10,000 by making a "bet" on your own weight loss, or by participating in one of our many weight loss and fitness challenges. There’s a reason we paid out millions to our participants last year - our challenges are fun, effective, and people love to win money for losing weight!
According to one of our participants, “HealthyWage has flipped on a switch that I just couldn’t seem to get clicked on by myself. Not sure, or what science is behind it, but this...is astounding!”
Time and again, we've provided participants with the motivation to get healthier that they've been searching for. In fact, 45% of our participants report weight loss¹ when participating in a HealthyWage Challenge, with an average prize payout of $1,386². Oh, and we DO know the science behind it. We’re kind of nerdy like that!
Check out some of the features you’ll enjoy with the HealthyWage app:
- Take and post-victory and before-and-after photos
- Participate with a vibrant community for support and accountability
- Keep track of your weight loss and your progress toward hitting your goal (and winning money!)
- Track your step activity throughout the day
- Create and submit your beginning and ending weigh-in verification videos
- Access your winnings to cash out or begin another challenge
- Keep an eye on your standing among other players
- Build friendships, get inspired by others success, and practice your best cheerleading skills
- Easily find and enter new challenges
There are 4 different types of HealthyWage Challenges you can join through the app. Those are:
The HealthyWager

HealthyWage's weight loss challenges have been featured on the Today show, Good Morning America, CNN, ABC News, NBC News, Fox News, and in The Wall Street Journal & The New York Times.
From our participants:
“HealthyWage is great for motivation. People have good intentions but lack the motivation. After having to stick with it for a period of time, that helps you change your habits for good and a healthy lifestyle becomes your new habit.”
"HealthyWage really exploited my competitive nature and used it to work for me!”
“There's nothing better than losing weight, feeling great, getting healthy AND winning money at the same time!"
"Putting up my own money definitely helped me win...the thought of the prize kept me focused. And, as weight started to come off, I was very excited about the process. It was not as hard as I thought it would be once I got my mind focused. I would definitely (and have) recommended this program to my friends! For people who are competitive, it will definitely motivate them to win!”
“I would not have seen the results I got without HealthyWage. It offers something totally unique and takes away all the excuse.”
Once you experience the thrill of HealthyWage, you'll never go back to struggling on your own. Try it and see for yourself! Start a diet, bet on it, and win big! Losing weight and getting active with HealthyWage pays off in more ways than one!

Weight Loss Bet by HealthyWage Reviews

Excessive fees to get payout

Mama says....... on

United States

The idea itself is solid and I wouldn’t call them a scam. Their fees to get a PayPal payout is egregious though. Ive used a similar app and never had to pay extra money to get my money. To say this is PayPal not them is also not completely true because again a similar app pays out through PayPal with no fee. It seems like they’re passing their cost of business on to the consumer and getting a percentage of winnings back by claiming PayPal is the one charging it. Yes you can get a check mailed for $7 which is what I did but why should I have to wait longer to get money I earned just due to corporate greed. I’d respect an upfront claim of just taking a percentage of winnings than to gaslight.

Awesome idea

Awesome idea. I am very motivated by money, so this might work. I picked an amount I can’t afford to lose. I like the 2 different challenge types, weight loss and steps. This app would have the full package if it also included wagers for sleep scores! Make me track my sleep scores on apps and make 5% improvements. My sleep is horrible, and that could help me track and improve it. “That which is measured, is improved”.

The app is of little help the service feels scammy

Like the title says my experience was negative overall and it’s quite the hassle to get your reward after loosing the weight and trying to get my cash out

Healthy Wager app is the only program that has been successful for me. At 55 I am finally learning what it means to set achievable, healthy goals. Most importantly the app helps to keep moving the finish line as I get stronger… which in and of itself helps motivate me to do more, keep going, get better. I recommend it for everyone.

Great time getting in 10,000 a day

Retracting my previous review

Bad Card to have on

United States

I am retracting my previous review. I got kicked out of the app because I accidentally signed up with two different email addresses and it canceled my registration. I was frantic thinking that all of my hard work had go to complete waste. But I contacted health wage via email, they explained what happened told me what to do to get hooked back up and now I’m signed up for two challenges making the first one that much easier and quicker to complete. I will do an update after I have completed my challenges and let you know what the outcome is. Love it so far. Ok stepping off. Nicole Jones

Y’all should check your algorithm

Because telling a 105 lb girl to lose 40 lb as recommended by some organization ain't normal lol. I was forced to increase the weight loss to that amount by your recommendation or else i couldn’t continue to the next screen. Although the last screen thankfully said losing >10% of weight would put my BMI at risk. But you should have built in that check before the last step. Also, maybe also expand your market. Because i don't really want to lose weight, i just want to stay fit, but i guess I'm nor your target audience. Too bad, the concept looked interesting and you could have a much bigger TAM figure if you included the fitness people rather than just people trying to lose weight.

Scam

Cbou89 on

United States

Don’t try it. This this is a scam. Let’s say I’ve played enough to have “won” 360 dollars that’s great but by that point I’ve already put in almost 300 bucks. I mean yay for 60 bucks but that advertisement about making X amount of money is a faults claim because they are not factoring in how much money the person put in when they show you those numbers. So it’s almost like they are counting the money they give you as if they aren’t just giving you back your own money with a little extra. It’s like betting on getting my own money back. Not worth it. I seen a response on here saying they have checks for like thousands to people. What they aren’t saying is if they check was 2000 the person probably put in 1900. So maybe they made 100. And according to the better business bureau they have received a lot of complaints and are in the process of forming an investigation on them.
