Welland Canal Bridge Status

Worked great for two day and then stopped working. A complete waste of money.

App wasn’t working due to website of canal updates not functioning. App is handy and works well otherwise.

Past week the app has not worked and I have a brand new iPhone 12 it doesn’t even display any bridges on my phone or updates

I bought this a few months ago, have only used it a few times, and now when I really need it, it’s just not working. It simply shows a black screen with a white banner at the top saying Update in red letters. And two days ago when I tried it, I got zero information on any bridges, I can’t remember what it said but it showed all the bridges with no status available for any. Very frustrating. I called my sister at the time and she was seeing the same thing as me so it wasn’t user error or a problem specific to my phone. Super disappointed. I would have understood a one time glitch but two days later and still not functioning... 😒😞

So I paid and as indicated not completely impressed. The bridge entries are deeper and larger and I think clumsy looking. Also the bridge names are unclear in white font with the lemon or lime backgrounds. I'd imagine these would be illegible in sunlight. Otherwise it gets the job done.

Great app, but it would be even better if the names of the various bridges were easier to read. It’s great that the background colour indicates the bridge status, but it would be nice to read the actual name of the bridge at a glance. The white colour of the font is difficult to read against a coloured background - perhaps a black or dark colour would make a quick glance at the name a possibility?
