Weather & Radar USA Pro

It’s a fantastic app that for me personally supersedes the native iOS weather app. I used the free version, however given my disdain for advertisements, I bought the Pro version. The two takeaways that I’d like to see from the creators of this app are as follows: 1) I would like a dark mode. Unfortunately this is the one app that will blind me if I open it up in a dark room. Maybe it’s just preparing me to look into the total eclipse next week, however I’m not sure. 2) One of the things that would be a tremendous improvement would be dual temperature readings, such as F° for Americans and C° for the rest of us on planet Earth. I know Deutsche Welle offers this on their television weather reports, but having to change my phone settings because family or friends are unable to understand that 20°C is actually quite nice and does not require the use of a winter survival suit would be quite helpful. Those are just my thoughts, otherwise it’s still my go-to weather app since 2015.

I use paid versions of three apps: The stock app upgraded on iPhone, MyRadar Pro, and this. This gives daily/ hourly details the best by far! Don’t like the sliders on MyRadar they’re more cutesy than useful. Great privacy statement for Pro version. This IS a selling point. The back ground for the radar could be dark. And it could offer wind arrows for direction and intensity like MyRadar Pro fully upgraded offers. As a result I jump back and forth between these two most often being unable to make do with just this one. Five stars for forecasting and data layout. I place this one in first position.

I love this app

Thank you for a very transparent privacy policy, especially for the free version! This company very clearly states what the collect, how it’s used, and whom it’s shared with. There are ways to opt-out, but I suggest paying for Pro to avoid the data collection. I would give 5 stars if the app incorporated more pinpoint weather data in the US. This app is well built and the databases for the forecasts are reliable for most areas I’ve traveled. I haven’t used the app long, that said I really like that the page layout can be customized. If I want to see the 14-day forecast the top, and the coastal forecast right next to it then it’s easy to organize how I’d like to view it. Great design, loads fast, and there’s plenty of data without too much clutter!

However, the lack of more current weather conditions is a big downfall for me. I only see current temp, and feels like temp.

Ok, so I buy the add free. It says you Dan change settings but I am not seeing that. Wish I had not spent the 6 bucks .. ;( Not flexible at all
