Despite the instructions under “Help,” after tapping the 3-dot button, there is no delete option listed in the menu. The latest version is installed.

I used to love this app, now a video ad pops up with no way to exit (the x in the corner doesn’t work, even after watching the whole ad). Time to find a new one

This was my favorite weather app. Now it is so frustrating I have deleted it. As others have noted, when in an intense storm the weather map will go blank as if it is a sunny day. For a long time, a look at the blog might necessitate rebooting your phone because you will get stuck there, unable to move within the app, and it will often continue giving audio in the background after you leave the app. I put up with all that. But now an attempt to view the hourly forecast locks you into an ad page. You can leave the app, but if you re-enter the app, you are stuck on the ad and must reboot your phone. Basically it is now impossible to see the hourly forecast. Bye-bye WGN.

Lately the ads coming up have the X for closing in the upper right which is almost right over the battery level indicator and it’s totally unresponsive. I have to force quit the app and reopen. A pain.

Used app for years. However last few days while using app , WGN video ad pops up without any prompt! And it’s impossible to delete - the very tiny x in upper right corner not respond! May be too close to battery %. Happened on my iPad Air and iPhone 15. Im deleting app and will go back to Apple weather

For the last several months, the WGN weather app Radar has been getting worse. It is not accurate most of the time. At the moment, it is showing a storm over my home, yet NBC and the Weather Channel apps show what is really happening, that the rain passed over almost an hour ago. I travel across the county for work and had always relied on WGNs accuracy. Not anymore. WGN what happened? Weather apps that show incorrect data are not only bad, but dangerous to people who need to rely on them. Fix or delete

The weather prediction has become very inaccurate lately. It says high percent chance of rain and nothing happens. It says a low percent chance of rain and it pours. The future radar on this app has become very unreliable as well. I’ve enjoyed this app for a few years but I think it’s time to find another one unfortunately.

Always shows the green and red storm coming 5 to 10 miles away, but yet it’s already pouring on me, why is our data old and unimportant? Happens all the time for the last 15 years on all my updated and new IOS devices! Get us our weather data current!

The radar seems faulty. Not exactly inaccurate but not as good as 6 months ago. And the time lapse is sometimes off in the times. The day by day and hourly lists are still good, but I go to Accuweather for radar. Not sure why this is. Isn’t radar the same everywhere?

Since the last iOS update this app has gone into the toilet. What is the point of a weather app that can’t connect to its GPS? Constant error messages when opening the app & ZERO severe weather alerts. Even before the weather maps radar only showed conditions half the time. The other half, totally devoid of radar. The app developer got lazy & is happily collecting paychecks
