Every time I have to restore my subscription before I get the next magazine. Looks like they ignore reviews and it's been reported many times.
My subscription for this app is not let me read the latest issue and my library is empty, which I tried to restore purchases and didn’t appear. I had to pay the latest issue £0.99. Needs to restore my subscription or I need to subscribe for the annual one.
Used to be a good app. Then about a year ago had to restore purchases every time used it and took ages to recognise subscription and not charge. Latest update awful. Has spinning wheel of death in main area and a load of French! Will not restore purchase of recognise subscription unless you delete and reinstall every time you want to use. Takes longer faffing with app than reading the magazine! I’d give it no stars if I could
I’ve been subscribing to this magazine for many years and used the app to start with. Like many others I had to keep restoring from settings in order to download my magazine and even then that wouldn’t always work. I decided to stop using the app and purchased via Amazon which was great, all those problems gone. That was until Amazon stopped selling it and I had to resort back to the app. I had hoped that within the time I was away the app would have improved, NO, it hasn’t and it’s just as bad as before. This has gone on for years and when you try to contact anyone with the issues, no one wants to deal with it and passes the buck! I now have a years subscription and I can’t read my magazine when it suits because once again I have to keep restoring it and I’m lucky if it works straight away. The developers of this app are an absolute disgrace and should be addressing this instead of doing nothing!!!! If I could give zero stars I would, obviously I do not recommend this app!!!!!!
I have been using this app for a while. Sometimes it works most of the time not. Have to reinstall or try restore purchases constantly to access new magazines each week. Impossible to get support
Every single week I have to click ‘restore purchases’. Even though I have a subscription, it only offers me the 99p sampler. It takes literally hours for the purchases to be restored. So sick of this. Looking for an alternative now. Useless, frustrating and annoying.
Love reading this magazine and I’ve had a previous 1 year subscription and I did have to keep on restoring my purchases constantly. But I renewed for a second year in June time and since then I’ve had problems actually downloading the latest magazines as it keeps on getting stuck on download. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app and lots of other things to try to resolve this but to no luck. I contacted apple as my subscription was with them and they were very very helpful and I could see it was an issue with the app development. I would ring up the magazine/ app company and they just will not help you at all, they just repeat “as your subscription is with apple please contact them”. I got so frustrated in the end apple helped me to get a refund for my year subscription. It’s the magazines loss as they just would not help me in any way so my money has now gone to another online magazine instead.
Like other people have said, I subscribed to this for a year and after a month or so it’s now asking me to pay per magazine even though my subscription doesn’t expire until august 2024. Tried deleting and re-installing the app but still can’t get access to the magazines I have paid for. Totally rubbish and not recommended 😡
This used to be fine but since the update is terrible. Forgets my subscription, stalls midway through downloading magazine and every week have to reinstall. Will be cancelling.
I keep having to restore my purchase, which takes ages. This week, the “latest issue” is in fact last week’s issue, so I have no idea what’s on this week, and it seems impossible to get any assistance regarding this!
