Whisky Log

I love this little app. Allow me to track all my whisky really easy to use

At first I thought brilliant a free app to log your whisky history. You list 5 then they want £2.99 ☹️ why bother.

So pleased that the developers have finally updated the app to make it work with iOS 11. Was gutted when I thought all my hard work was lost. How about another update, one that includes a numerical count to help keep track of the number of whiskies tried, perhaps even a filter to separate the ones tried/owned/sadly missed etc?

Don’t work with ios11 all my whisky log has gone years of wasted time need a update now not happy

This is a great app that makes it easy to record, make motes add photos and sync across devices. Good job.

Needs more whisky's added and would be a lot better if it automatically filled in details such as age, strength etc when you add a whisky to collection. Would have rated higher if it did

The ap is good for creating a list but that is it. It would be nice if it’s database could include more whiskeys to make it easier to add new ones. Also, other ways to sort info. Plus if it could check for doplications.

You do all the work to get to your fifth entry and then you find out you have to buy the full version to add more than that. That’s just wrong.

I have used this app for years. I have sampled and logged dozens of scotch, whiskeys and bourbons. I’ve referred back to it when I forgot a name of something I’ve had or if I’m looking to buy a bottle of something I’ve enjoyed previously... Until recently when I had to replace My iPhone and for whatever reason, My iCloud backup didn’t work. I had to redownload the app and log in. But it has been years since I set up My profile... I don’t even believe it asked for an email when I set it up originally. But unlike most apps that usernames and passwords get automatically saved to Your iCloud Keychain, Whiskey Log didn’t. It’s literally the only app I lost anything in during this process yet it was the most important aside from My photos and contacts. I emailed the developer and He searched for different emails I would have used during the setup. I’m pretty sure I wasn’t ever prompted and He confirmed as such after not finding Me under any of the 3 email address’ I have ever used... One of My biggest passions and Years of logging all lost... I went from loving this app to being horribly disappointed with it.

I tried to use it, but the fact that it hasn’t been updated to fit a 2 year old iPhone screen bothers me. Add to that the lack of a way to contact the developer and the empty, non-mobile friendly website and it’s clear this is an unsupported hobby. If I’m going to log a bunch of data I’d like a bit more than that. At least I didn’t find any bugs.
