Dead Dreary

This game is confusing, dull and ultimately not worth your time or the £5 it costs. You spend the entire time stumbling around in darkness with just a lit match to guide you, with. Sry little to show for it. Deleted.

Controls aren’t good

I’m really enjoying the game, but the controls aren’t great, making it hard to interact with objects (you have to stand directly in front of them). I also keep dying because when I try to run away from a ghost I end up in the wrong place. The game itself is quite difficult but in a good way. Overall I’m glad I bought it.

Poor

I’m normally prepared to give myself plenty of time in which to work out the controls and get into a game. However, I’ve given up on White Night after just 25 minutes of endless circle turning. I have no idea on how I’m supposed to control the character, as there are no instructions, guides or hints, just a message telling me to tap on a circle that appears to have little or no actual function. I suggest that anyone thinking of purchasing this game, give it a wide berth until the creators decide to provide some sort of clue or early walkthrough.

Fed up

After long intro to story my character just walks round in circles beside the car. How the heck do you make him move while playing on an iPad? No instructions or help that make sense. Tried tapping as suggested but to no avail. Can drag small circle around screen, but to no effect. What a waste of money. I want a refund!

Ok

Change controls right away makes game easier! Graphics and effects are nice but control is frustrating and female ghost keeps killing you so often it becomes a chore to explore the house! Very few of the lights work which makes everything frustrating! You need to examine everything but doing so wastes all the matches so you run out and it’s game over! Finally deleted because ran out of matches and keep get attacked by ghost! Cannot continue!

Could be great

This game has a stunning design. Visually it is top of class. Imaginative and rich with potential. But the touch sensitivity is so finicky. Navigating and inspecting become frustrating episodes and I find myself switching off in irritation. Please make some improvements.

Frustrating!!!

Keeps getting stuck and can’t get through the doors and no help instructions damn annoying!!!

Fantastic game...

I was absolutely captivated throughout by the story. Unfortunately the controls were unreliable and the directional pad didn't work for me at all. Much of the text also displayed incorrectly on my iPad Pro meaning I couldn't read the comments properly in the 'Boston Daily News'. These didn't totally kill the game, but it would be far better if these issues were fixed!

Horrible game play

This is definitely a game which is style over substance. Cannot see to move character, he just staggers round in a circle. Boring and expensive

First game I bought recommended by a Youtuber, glad I did

Bought this after I saw TJ Kirk talk about it at the start of one of his vids, so glad I did. A good noir horror, beautiful design and genuinely scary with nothing more than light and dark as a setting and a great story to keep you hooked. Play it, love it, I did :)
