Amazing app!
We use this instead of medication to fall asleep, especially good for overtired kids who can’t wind down. Kids love me making sounds for them. I just discovered the market and uploaded my first sound. I re-live the holiday moment I recorded it with my 11yo and love it. Thank you! 💚
Sleep partner
I’ve used this app for about 8 yrs now. I use it for sleep or just to flood my house with rain noise while I study. The function to choose your own combination of sound is my favourite
Ad network or analytics is too thirsty
This app does the thing it says it does. It does a bit more as well. When I picked up my phone after a night of using this app it was HOT. My battery didn’t make it to 100% charge overnight because this app was consuming so much power. I checked battery stats in settings to confirm it. Checking further, it talks a lot with google’s servers during the night. I want white noise, not an advertising/tracking collaborator. I guess I’ll keep looking for a less hostile app that does white noise.
Good app, but issues with latest iOS
Generally great app but since latest iOS update, white noise app has sound cutting in and out intermittently. Sometimes it’s for a brief second and comes came automatically. Other times, have had it pause/stop all together. Very annoying when you’re trying to fall asleep using the app. If I force close the app, and restart it seems bit more stable.

Free, I said free. It’s like a miracle in this world where everything cost cost cost - I got beautiful sounds for free

Have been using it for years to help me sleep
Have used this app every night for years to help me sleep. I’m a very light sleeper and find it very difficult to get to sleep when I can hear even the slightest of nosies. So I use White Noise with noise cancelling earbuds to help me sleep and it’s been a true life saver. And the night clock feature is excellent so my phone is also my bedside clock.
