Downloaded on the Mac to have a try. Loaded the app on the iPad and it just shows the one board I’m allowed without paying a subscription. That seems totally locked in view only mode. No way to unlock. No way to do anything other than subscribe. Therefore no way of trying with Apple Pencil after logging in on the Mac. I can’t even delete the one board I have and try another. It literally won’t let me do anything other than subscribe. Seems to have so much promise but very reluctant to get involved with an app which won’t even let me work with the one free board they offer. App deleted.

This interactive whiteboard is among the best that I have used to date. It is costly in my opinion but due to some of it’s unique features I continue to subscribe. I experienced some security issues in the past and I am not sure if these have been resolved and so I don’t share content with students anymore. It is not clear that user data is secure including personal data. The app is better than the online version. Also usability depends very much on your device so do have an up to date device or you could lose some functionality such as microphone etc. I have used LiveBoard extensively now and so I am aware of most if not all of it’s pros and cons.

I downloaded this and really like the features but it’s sooooooo slow and glitchy on my iPad. To navigate between boards I have to close it down and reopen it. And when moving between pages on a board it doesn’t display what was on the board and I have to shut down app and reopen it. It’s a shame because i like the app but it’s unusable because I have to keep closing and reopening it.

Love Liveboard but today my tutees were unable to join session. The session loading signal became locked on and never connected. Tried reloading etc but nothing worked. Anyone got a solution ? Thanks Zoe

Having just installed the app, I tried editing the example board (Pythagoras). Each time I changed the pen (from the sidebar) I could write, but the first pen strokes would be lost. It appeared to work ok once the pen sidebar had retracted. I then created a new page. No pen strokes registered. There may be a work-around, but it was frustrating. Also, the canvas didn't appear to be infinite, which would have been helpful.

Freezes a lot, collaborative drawing / erasing is buggy. Join / leave / rejoining is also not great often hanging on a loading message.

Not able to connect. Nothing really works properly

The concept is great, the execution is unusably buggy. Bits of text appear that cannot be erased, the eraser sometimes creates strange dead zones over which you cannot write anymore, etc. Since this is absolutely basic functionality and the bugs are so obvious that half a day of bug-hunting should allow to squash most of them, I can only conclude that this is abandonware...

Woke this morning to fine a dot grid. All previous creation is distorted. New creation only offered dot grid . This must be to do with Apple as Andriod works ok . The program on Andriod offers a facility button to select while sheet , do grid or graph. It isn’t available for apple

Some of the staff that I write disappear once I turn over the page (when coming back to the previous pages). Also there are some random marks on the page that can’t be erased with the eraser. These problems did not occur in the previous versions
