WICS ABC20 Reviews

Distraction and Clickbait

Medic2909 on

United States

This app is similar to their live news. It distracts people from Springfield crime, controversy, and issues by presenting negative news from surrounding communities. There is also ridiculous “clickbait” stories that apparently must help pay this app’s bills.

App needs update!

App is poor quality. Has all the local news you need and want however navigating the app and videos is bad enough to not use it.

Useless

carlybarly93 on

United States

Just installed to track local news and it did nothing except say to refresh it. What a waste of time.

Not current

overtherainbo on

United States

I just opened it on Sunday 10 pm. The headlines were all from Wednesday. Four day old news has no possible value to me.

Constant crashes

DeLanee5 on

United States

*****CODE RED ALERT***** Access to local news ceases to exist bc latest app crashes before newsfeed loads. Guess I shouldn’t expect a useful app from a company willing to terminate their best employees.

WICS Ch 20 is CODE DEAD

doeslayersr on

Delete the news and their weather apps. Email and call all advertisers to advise them to pull any ad $$$. Show them the viewers are behind Joe Crain and his objective criticism of their asinine CODE RED weather alerts. Tell the advertisers to move to WAND and WCIA as that is were the viewers are going in protest.

Suggestion

Love the app but can I make a suggestion? Add landscape viewing mode for use on iPad. Thanks!!

Spammy at best

Wonderfully funds on

United States

Every single time I try to look at anything on this app, I get a pop up about winning a free phone. Such a lovely gesture... I’ll use the new phone to look at ANY news app besides this one.

Won't work with<10 iOS

I have an older iPad and iPod and the current version work on either. Both devices are 9.x.x iOS and can't upgrade to 10.x.x.

Best local news app

Syno86 on

United States

It's quite amazing how nice this app looks for a small town news station. I will definitely be getting my news from you since you made such a good effort on your iPhone app.
