Was great a couple updates ago, but now it won’t go into Dark Mode. There’s a minute long ad every time you open it. It’s honestly a little cluttered UI wise. Just use MINICAL. It’s superior in every way. It syncs to all your calendars and the home widget looks way better. And the ads are tiny banners on the bottom.
I loved this app and used it for years. But now it randomly deleted all of my past and future events and it plays ads every time I open it. It’s a real shame
I really like the ease of use, layout and, the widget is my favorite part. I couldn’t find a feedback spot in-app so here’s a review-feedback. I don’t know if the new iOS has screwed it up or if it’s just buggy on my phone - it often doesn’t update an event (added or deleted) on the calendar until I either close and reopen the app or add/delete a second event. Or sometimes it will show correct in the app but not on the widget - or sometimes the reverse of that.
I like when I’m able to scroll through the widget calendar through the different months instead of opening up the app itself
I used to live this app but then they purposely made it slow with the longest ads, now the widget is blindingly white. Wow, instantly deleted.
Seems that with update 18.1.1 the widget is forcefully white, maybe due to auto black widgets and dark mode clashing, not sure. Also would love to pay for full version if it was one time purchase not subscription based.
You really expect me to watch multiple ads every time I want to briefly glance at my calendar? Honestly ridiculous. For that, at least make it more functional and less annoying to edit events. Works, in theory- but practice is another story. I get annoyed everytime I use it. Better off using the calendar built into your phone.
UPDATE: I got my calendar info back but now I can’t change the colors. My wifey color is always white even though I have black selected. When I open the calendar it then turns black. I have tried to change the colors and it won’t change anything. Please fix this!! I work nights and keep getting blinded by the white background. It’s really annoying to pay for an app that is not working. I updated to the iOS 17 and now my calendar is completely empty. I cannot get any of my stuff back and I pay for this so I really hope they can fix this issue.
As a widget it’s great, I can see everything at a glance. But as soon as you open it up it has non skippable adds now! I have to wait through an entire add just to add or look at anything. I’ve been using this for like a decade and now I’m finding something else!
I used to like this app, but now all I see is ads, ads and more ads, they are on everything I am so sick of ads
