There’s a big database to be downloaded and then it doesn’t show anything in my area or or other well-populated areas that I know. I’m sorry, but I have to say the app is substandard.

The subscription automatically renews if it is not cancelled within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for the next subscription period up to 24 hours prior to the current subscription expiring. It is not possible to cancel an existing in-app subscription. You can disable the automatic renewal function at any time by adjusting your account settings.

Pretty useless.
Shows no wifi hotspots in a 20km range from our location. We know of at least 10 within our immediate area. Just ask a local, they will know the wifi hotspots.. one thing is sure... You WON'T find them here!!

Free Wi-FI Finder
This is an awe-inspiring app because it can work offline, it has a neat looking logo, and it is easy to use. There needs to be a way to connect to Wi-FI or the internet from a dis-connected state. This app can do that, it is cheap, and it allows tailoring a down-loaded map. You can choose a title and viewing area for the down-loaded map. It looks awesome to see a file that shows places around me while dis-connected. I can use it for finding things in general and not just Wi-FI. The Wi-FI is important and so are other places and things.
