Never shows fires where I am
Seems to only show active fires down south. Good idea but in my area no info.
Description
Wildfire Watch is your best friend during the wildfire season in Andalusia and Valencia. It notifies you of new wildfires in your area, provides official updates from the authorities, keeps you updated on the fire stages and deployed means, shows you the location of all fires and has a lively comments section for each fire where you can share information, ask questions and post photos and videos.
We're currently active in Andalusia and Valencia. We're planning to expand to other regions.
Note: This is not an official government app. Official government updates are shown in the app however and come from various sources like Twitter and news agencies.

Not working on iPhone…
Downloads OK, when opening app flashes up conditions then goes to black screen and loading data. I am away from home at the moment and wanted to check on fire updates near my home. Disappointed…….

Great app with good features allowing you to set a distance from where you live so as not to get hundreds of notifications from other fires The only problem is the maps they use don’t allow you to get directions to the fire so if your not familiar with the area you don’t know how close it is
Miss the Facebook group :(
App has been very glitchy but improvements made on the go by developers, well done. Lots of older folk relied on the Facebook group and aren’t into mobile apps so I worry about them having access to vital info, also would be useful to able to privately message users to respond to offers of help, etc.
