The new Wing Q App offers wireless remote control for WING Personal Mixing Consoles on iPhones. The Q-App supports Monitoring functions for live and studio applications. Multiple instances of the app can be connected to the hardware simultaneously, allowing both musicians and technicians to adjust the bus mixes.
WING Q offers the same personal monitoring functions of WING CoPilot in a condensed and optimized way for smartphones. The Monitor Mixing UI is reduced to the essential parameters of personalized monitoring applications and offers an additional lock function to reduce the risk of accidentally selecting the wrong bus. Just like its big brother, WING Q allows adjusting bus mixes via single channel sends or MCA (mix control association). MCAs are similar to DCAs and allow to control a group of channel levels by a single control.

A few improvements please?
Could the app for mobile have larger faders? Just put more side bars to click through all the channels?
Otherwise, the connectivity isn't bad with a good wireless router. I also find it helpful to connect to the board if you put your phone one airplane mode and connect to the board wifi independently. This way your phone doesn't drain battery searching for signal and it isolates your connection
Please fix!
The size of the user interface is wayyyy to small. It hasn’t been a pleasurable experience to use the app and I am ashamed to tell my team that this is what they have to use now after using the MX-Q app for our X32. Also like others have said, it drains your phone battery sooo fast
Phone Battery rapidly drains !!! Please fix!!!
With in two hours of using app, Phone get completely drain. Please fix!!! Never had this issue with other digital consoles. Having to use a completely different digital mixer for in-ears because bad cannot rely on this app to adjust sound on in-ears.
Battery Killer
Behringer is so slow on updating their apps and neglect their customers after they sold you their products. I’ve been waiting for them to fixed battery drainage issues since day one. Definitely will not but their product in the future
When more than two users if kicks you off the board
We have a 9 person band and if two connect to the board it slows and then kicks you off.
Awful app. Also everything is Soooo small.
Battery life and fader size
From the first time that I used this app, I was very disappointed. The app completely drains the battery and makes the phone overheat. My battery went from 100% to 25% in about an hour and a half. This happened to all musicians using an iPhone. The Android version just drops the connection every time the screen turns off, so that is NOT a viable fix for the iPhone version. Also the faders are ridiculously small and hard to adjust while playing the drums especially, but really every instrument. I have tried keys, guitar, and bass, as well. This is BY FAR the worst in ear monitoring app that I have ever used, and I have used several. I have even used others by Behringer. This one just misses the mark in a big way. Even more disappointingly, is that I have read several reviews that say the same things since the console came out. Behringer really has no desire to fix the issues, which is sad because the console is great!
Drains battery
It works okay for me. Connects fine as well. However the faders are really small and hard to make small adjustments. And worse yet it drains the battery on your phone so fast! Hopefully this will be changed with an update soon.
Way to heavy battery usage
Just got a new Wing. First week using it live. My phone went from 90% to 25% in one morning, two services. All of us using iOS found our phone way too warm and battery usage through the roof. Yes the sliders are small but the battery usage causes me to rate one star. Came from Yamaha TF5 it’s MonitorMix app was much more configureable and used very little battery. The Android users found there apps had to be reconnected constantly. All in all needs a lot of work.
Demo
Why is the demo no longer available?
Improvements needed
The faders are very small, which makes it difficult to use.
It drains the battery very quickly and overheats the phone.
Allen & Heath’s monitor mixer app is much better. I would suggest looking at their software as one to imitate. The faders are much larger, and you can scroll through instead of having to page through fader banks.
