In Wingspan up to 5 players compete to build up their nature preserves in a limited number of turns. Each beautiful bird that you add to your preserve makes you better at laying eggs, drawing cards, or gathering food. Many of the 170 unique birds have powers that echo real life: your hawks will hunt, your pelicans will fish, and your geese will form a flock.

Clumsy

This is nearly impossible to play on a phone. The board game is just so much better.

Improved stability for older iPad models

Thanks for the most recent stability improvements, Can now make it through a game on my Gen 6 iPad without the game crashing!

Game not working

Ever since the update a day ago, I haven’t been able to play online, it freezes.

Love the game, but also...

I love this game. I don't understand why the AI has to take soooo long to choose its cards at the beginning, and so long to take turns. Is this supposed to mimic playing a human? Because I could play humans if I wanted to, but I'd rather play a speed game with the AI. Also, the preserve archive is super annoying to navigate. The scroll bar has no nuance, you can't slowly scroll through the games, very lurchy. Love the birdsong, the backgrounds, the seasonal backgrounds are such treats, and I play this game too much! Also, I updated the app today and now every time I open the game it tells me notifications are turned off and open settings. I don't want to do that, how can I make it stop telling me to do that? Thanks.

Great to learn the game!

I absolutely LOVE this game. Since I started playing this I finally started to learn how to actually win at this game and won my first board game of Wingspan this week! I’d like to note that I am playing this game on my iPad Pro and I only play the base game, no expansions yet. And I mainly play Automa. I’ve read some reviews that say it crashes, lags in game play and I have not experienced this at all. I have never tried it on my phone cause frankly I can’t imagine it being easy with all the small text. I have had crashes when playing the online option though, but haven’t tried it in months so it may be fixed. This game is beautiful and zen with it’s music, bid facts, artwork animations, so many subtle design choices that make it wonderful. I play it to take relaxation breaks in my day. I highly recommend it!

One of the best games

Genuinely this game is so good- beautiful graphics, engaging cards and the perfect amount of rounds to really hammer out a good strategy. It never gets boring- I’ve owned it on board game form for years, and I had to get it for my iPad! 10/10

Love it but glitchy

Long time fan of the board game. My partner and I love to start our weekend with a cup of coffee and a relaxing game on our phones. But the glitches and bugs are incredibly frustrating. It often kicks us out completely. Please keep working to fix it as we do truly love this game!

Needs some tweaks

1. The AI is far too easy to beat on normal and too slow on hard. 2. A lot of the text and icons are too small to read or see on the iPhone 15. 3. I wish I could view the cards in the wetland without having to activate the wetland habitat. They are too difficult to read when they are leaned back in the display. 4. I wish it wasn’t so slow to view other players’ sanctuaries. I want to be able to flip between player views quickly. 5. The game is too slow to load. I hate to say this. The game is also boring.

Bird is the word

So many wonderful mechanics blended together into one game. So many different ways to win. I simply love it have it on my phone, my switch and the physical board game. Anyone an play and I recommend it to everyone! Ps the the bots can be a bit dopey some times but that’s what the pvp is for.
