Wire se centra completamente en agregar fuentes RSS y representar artículos de una manera moderna. Los artículos se descargan para usarlos sin conexión, pero los lees en un navegador real. La mayoría de los lectores de RSS sólo le muestran el contenido del feed RSS, pero Wire le ofrece el artículo original.
Las fuentes se sincronizan entre dispositivos mediante iCloud y su ID de Apple, por lo que no necesita una cuenta de usuario adicional.
