It’s great to have on the go! Please PLEASE add a “disrespecting parents” section!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a paper copy but wanted something on the go. Great reference for on the go but you forgot the whining section. It is our most used section at the moment lol
I have a 7, 9, and 11 yo and I could reference this app daily! It addresses the heart issues (sins) that every family struggles with. I love that it gives speaking prompts to help the child process the heart issues/his or her role in it, and clear “put offs” and “put ons” to right the situation. Really a super tool!!!
Easily apply verses to current struggles. Can name book, chapter, verse in how behavior contradicts Scripture. I always have my phone with me, so this reference guide is always available to me to speak encouragement to my children- I can read the better choice to them, easily and quickly, and encourage them to rectify the situation wisely.
This app is helpful, however it will be deleted unless there is an update compatible with iOS 11.
I love the simplicity and wisdom in this app. As a mom of kids ranging from toddler to teenagers, it's a challenge to find what connects with each kiddo. We are learning more and more about correction that disciples. This tool puts God's "living and active" Word at our fingertips. So grateful!!
We are just starting to use this app, however It has been great so far. I'm grateful you can add additional questions and scriptures to each area, as it tells you in the beginning it is not a substitute for your own study of the scriptures and I have found things specific to my family and myself I needed to add. In an update I would like the option of also being able to add additional behaviors to the list as we have some that are specific to our situation we would like to add. For now I'm adding them under the closest topic and it is working ok.
I wish the link to youversion would read in my Bible, and not switch over to ESV. It should have the ability to lock to the version of the Bible your family honors.
This is a great tool for parents to pursue their children’s hearts rather than strictly modifying their behavior. If you prefer a different Scripture translation, there is a simple button for finding the verses using the YouVersion or ESV Bible apps. I also appreciate that you can add your own content. That’s great because there are only a couple of verses for each issue and there are other verses that I think fit better for the age of my children. The bugs in previous versions seem to be cleaned up and I’ve had no issues.
