I am finding the camera features do not work, which is disappointing as there no other way to bring the invitation to life. For an expensive experience I would expect better execution of these ad-ons

The sound doesn’t work properly when you try to use the video function for Elf vision. You get terrible echoing and feedback then when you watch the video back it doesn’t have any sound at all. Needs to be fixed

This has so much potential but there’s nothing much to it. The most exciting thing (elf vision) doesn’t even work!! We are all so disappointed about that! Seems to be a common issue looking at last reviews. Either fix it or take it off!!

Would be amazing but unfortunately when you hit record, the sound changes do you can’t hear what the elves are saying. Then when you play back the video that has been recorded there’s no sound been recorded. Please can this be fixed :( I’ve contacted Lapland UK and they have skirted around my complaint.

Not working correctly for Elf magic on the invites. It will record but echos a lot and when you play it back it has zero sound. Needs to be fixed asap as Christmas is fast approaching and kids will be given invites in the coming weeks.

Promising app that could be quite magical. But doesn’t really do much of anything. Would be great if integrated with your visit like it’s suppose to be or the elf invitation AR worked but it doesn’t. Simply takes a picture. All in all very underwhelming and not really sure there is a point

Just gave my daughter her invitation this am and unfortunately the elf vision camera didn’t work. It just took photo or video. It DID work on my husband’s Samsung. So suspect compatibility issues here annoyingly. Child gets a bit suspicious when you’re trying to do something (but you don’t know what it needs to do) and have to go and check the Instructions to make sure you’re doing it right! A bit annoying.

This app is supposed to be the go-to app for all Lapland, booking ice skating, notify us when it’s ok to enter car park, et al. Not only did it not do all that, it’s not even reading our invitation properly. Luckily I tried it on my own before disappointing the kids.

No details on anything accept for cute games. The email told us to book ice skating slots via this app ...

I love the idea of this, but it doesn’t actually do the things it’s supposed to do. We have not been able to view the invites through the special elf camera, nor the postcard. I doubt I’m the only one that can’t get this to do what it should. The emails from Lapland say updates will be added onto here, but where exactly? I can’t see any function to allow that...
