Description

Witcheye представляет из себя красочный олдскульный платформер с уникальной системой управления, которая помогает по-настоящему прочувствовать каждое движение персонажа. Witcheye Reviews

Good

It’s a good game but the controls are a bit frustrating

Good little game

Controls are my only gripe. Not as precise as I’d like but still a fun game to play through.

Not for me

Good music and aesthetics, unique concept. But I just don’t enjoy it. It’s purely an action game with no strategic decisions. Easy to know what to do, requires precision to execute. Also, the first boss fight is long and tedious.

While I agree with a few other people who have posted reviews in that this isn't really a platformer, it does have a lot of platformer mechanics. I also have no idea what other genre the developers (or publisher-whoever wrote the iTunes description) could have tied this game to. Arcade-like, platformer-influenced... flick.... .... game? =P Whatever you want to call it, it comes down to this:;: Witcheye is a very enjoyable game. You'll make your way through each stage controlling an eyeball by dragging a finger across the screen. 360 degree movement, and to stop all you need to do is tap anywhere. Very simple controls. To dispatch an enemy, you just need to bump into them. To destroy bricks, bump into them. To collect an item, run into it. There's 3 green diamonds and one blue (so, of course, 4 total) to collect in each stage, which you'll have to be kind of quick to grab as they pop up about a character's length and then fall downward and off the screen, so keeping on your toes is required if you want to collect everything. There's also leaderboards for each world you'll make your way through, one for not taking damage and one for how long it takes you to beat all of the stages in each of the worlds. Needless to say, this adds a bit of replay value to the game, which is always nice. The level designs are top notch, graphics are beautiful, the controls are tight and very responsive and the game is just flat out fun to play. If all of this sounds like something you might be interested in, I totally recommend you check this one out. $3 is a GREAT price for what's offered here. Thank you, devs!! =D

Okay but not a fan of the controls

Not a bad game I’m just not a fan of the controls. I also feel like I should stop once I kill something instead of bouncing off... it just doesn’t feel right the way it is. Also, on the ‘rock’ boss level 1-5 I think, he bounced off to the right side of the screen, through the key/wall never to be seen again so I’m stuck having to redo the level. Not a huge deal but was annoying. If devs want to reply back I can send a video of it.

Retro at its Best

Smart, funny, addictive—this game is a throwback in the best possible way. I was loving it and then my four year old saw me playing and he loved it, too. Great music, too!

Great pixel art, tons of collectibles, challenging but fun gameplay, leaderboards and achievements galore, cool and unique story, controls that are perfect for touchscreen - all these things contribute to one of the best mobile games I’ve played this year. And I play a LOT of mobile games. =)
