An essential for travel fans!
We’ve used with locals in Malaysia, Thailand and Mallorca. The app allows us to keep in touch with ‘our local’, discuss making a minor changes to itineraries and arrange pick up point. It also allows us to check tours last minute when we haven’t been organised! 5* tours and 5* app
Brilliant app
I love the WithLocals app we have used in Madrid with my daughter on a tapas and wine tour, Thailand cooking a meal in a locals house and now in Prague on a food tour. You really get to see and learn so much more as you are with a local. They are all so friendly and eager to tell you about their home.
Great idea.
This app will change the way I travel in the future. I love it and will continue to use. Locals get work, tourists get a bespoke trip.
Poor app/website
I really don’t know why people are giving positive comments to the company by rating the app well. The app and website are deficient in many ways. You can’t view the feedback given to your host other than the last two and have no way therefore of looking at other review comments. They layout is not intuitive or easy. You have to go to specific screens and in the context of a particular screen can see certain things or interact in certain ways. It tries to do so much it fails on some of the basics - I’m trying to book/evaluate THIS trip, not the others that at similar. The company may or may not be good. But for here, in this context, the app is poor.
