I’ve tried a handful of language learning apps and this is by far the best one. The free version isn’t irritating to use, in fact there are no ads at all for me and all the content I need to build a good understanding is provided, no matter my level. I wish I had discovered this earlier. Definitely recommending to other learners! Great job devs.
Just started the other day. Great app 10/10. No adds or paywalls, which automatically puts it above every other language app (imo). I do a lot of OSINT and wanted to learn Russian. So far it’s been a great experience.
what i thought was a small app compared to something like duolingo or babbel, this app has a lot to offer.
Makes me write notes and study and I can basically remember how it sounds!
Super amazing app teaches you everything you need to know and I love that it even places reviews of old words in your lessons. It’s great for retention. I’m only a little bit into the app but it’s amazingly laid out and super manageable, you can expect to learn a lot from this app in just a couple of weeks.
Definitely gives you a lot more knowledge and words than duolingo. It expands your vocabulary rapidly so I’d suggest having some sort of notebook to keep new words stored in a library. It does teach you how to properly write words and modify them if they’re feminine masculine etc…I’ve just started with it, im in beginner on lesson 17 and so far I’d say the app is worth using.
I’ve subscribed to Wlingua Russian for months via Apple subscriptions. Abruptly, I couldn’t log in. I emailed customer support, and apparently they decided to switch to using email addresses for logins rather than usernames…and summarily deleted access to all username-based accounts. Even is you’ve been paying them via Apple, using an identifiable email address. My progress is just…gone. Without warning. Despite sending them hundreds of dollars in subscriptions fees. And since this app relies on repetitive practice algorithms, restarting undermines the elevated subscription cost. Shame. This was a decent app, but for the cost as high as that, this kind of thing should NEVER happen.
Definitely a great go-to practice app. It covers most useful conversational and grammatical information. I recommend it
This app makes learning Russian really fun so far. I like it a lot! 🥰
