You get your choice between the canned programs and being able to listen to all three stations. They have the regular station, the classical station and the all news/talk station so you can catch up on anything you want at any time. It seems to always work which is a bonus for any app.
I’ve used the app from coast-to-coast to keep up with local weather and events while traveling.
It’s the easiest way to listen the the HD Classical snd HD3 News/Talk. It also has links to almost ALL the podcasts for the local and network programs.
I want to be as fair and honest about this review as I can be. I've given this app three stars because I've used many apps like it and it falls somewhere in the middle. It scores very high marks for sound quality and steady signal, but scores low for convenience. I'm a little spoiled by the old SiriusXM app that I'm still using. It allows you to pause the audio for long periods of time, up to four hours. So far, if I leave the WLRH app paused for more than a few minutes, it goes to live audio when I hit play again. I would say that is it's biggest flaw. The ability to pause and replay the audio is the main reason I use the app rather than listen live on the FM radio.
Cannot stream your station on apple music. An app isnt a replacement.
I listen to the news and radio almost every day, via this app. Works great. Get both the local news and NPR. Thanks much.
I listen to WLRH most of the day either at home or in the car. But there are times I am not near a radio, and particularly when a few of my favorite programs air I can catch them live or play later on podcast.
Very good, at last!
I enjoy access to HD programs on my phone, when I am away from my HD RADIO Namely, Classical music all day on HD2 and journalisms on HD3. I did not have to buy another HD radio.
