I depend on the app to listen to WMRA. The interface is easy to use, but it’s very frustrating to use, as it crashes constantly. Sometimes after it has crashed I can’t get it to restart, so I have to fully close and reboot it several times before it opens. I don’t have this issue with any other app, including apps for other NPR stations, which I sometimes use when traveling.
WMRA is my go-to radio station & I’ve been a contributing sustaining member for years. This app would be great for when I’m walking or out of town. But it keeps cutting out on me so frequently that it’s super frustrating & after a while I just give up. I’ve tried rebooting the app & my phone to no avail. Wish I knew the fix! Maybe it’s just not sufficiently powered? Idk…
This is a great station. The app’s features good but it is frequently unstable and crashes or drops its stream. We live in Charlottesville and the broadcast signal is weak even though we are right in town. So we rely on this app, which is sometimes frustrating.
While I love the convenience of this App (and really love WMRA) it frequently crashes and/freezes. Just a minor inconvenience.
It’s on 80% of my waking hours!!
Love being able to tune into things I’ve missed when traveling. super user friendly and works well!
My most used app
Other than the Rachel Maddow. Show on MSNBC @ 9:00. I listen to WMRA nonstop all day every day
Even when I'm out of the area I still enjoy this station. Thank you for your awesome work!
