很久很久以前，在某个遥远的星系里有一颗叫做Laya的星球。Wokamon曾经非常开心地和Laya星球的主人 - Layabots共同生活在一起。他们一起工作，一起玩耍，Wokamon把Layabots工作运动时消耗的卡路里转化为自己生存的能量。可是渐渐地，Layabots变得越来越忙，也变得越来越懒惰，他们最后放弃了运动。失去了能量来源的Wokamon逐渐变得越来越衰弱，也越来越悲伤。
为了让Wokamon族继续能够繁衍下去，Wokamon的长老们决定发送族内一些年轻力壮的Wokamon到地球上来探险，寻找能够支持他们生存的能量并让Wokamon一族得以继续往日的辉煌。就这样，Wokamon们的地球冒险从这里开始了... …
