I really like Wolfgangs Vault, I used the free version and enjoyed it for a long time. When it went to a pay service, I held out for what I figured was long enough for their team to nix the pause between the songs. Nope. The pause would be fine on regular studio EPs, but it’s extremely disruptive to the flow of a live performance. It’s Busch league for a pay service.
The music on the app is great when you can get it to play. I find the app to be very buggy. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I’m running the most current version of iOS
They made a great transition into streaming authenticity. I don’t at all mind giving my contribution each month to this cause. Great artists from every genre and LIVE recordings you probably haven’t heard before. Awesome place to explore new and old artists. Better yet, if your app isn’t working, they will resolve it to within a day or two.
Won’t even load. Immediately shuts down. Sigh
This really shouldn’t need to be said but here we are: You need to find a way to make your library accessible to view in iOS. The “Browse” page is ridiculous with its 8 sort of randomly curated categories listing 15 performances/artists in each. Scrolling (horizontally!) through this puny cross section of your holdings is by no definition “browsing.” You have thousands of shows available. Thousands! You have a lot of rock a lot of funk a lot of everything, yet, under the “Rock” Browsing category you list the Average White Band, Desmond Decker, The Brothers Johnson: great acts one and all, none of which could even loosely be described as “Rock”. The Search function is even more useless. Users (Members, I mean) need to either specify or to guess what surprises you may or may not have stored on your servers, and failing that, we’re left to cross-reference from your website or our Sonos integration to find music. So please, spend a coupla bucks and list your titles alphabetically by artist, by year, by recently added, whatever. Just do something to make your titles easily accessible to view and take the laborious guesswork out of using this crappy and not exactly free (because $39 annually) app.

No complaints about the selection or quality. My only complaints are two: one, that on the iPad it would be really, really nice to have it run in landscape. I use mine in bed with a device that the iPad hooks into, typically in landscape. When I want to use it, I have to unhook the device and reorient it, which is annoying. Also, it would be nice to have the option to save your log in info for the app so you don’t have to input it every time. Other than those relatively minor quibbles, I love the music!
I love the content, but the app needs work. I have to log in several times a day if I switch in/out of the app. There is no way to scroll through a list of available artists like the Sonos integration does. A few fixes and it would be great.
I had the Concert Vault app, I downloaded this app an all I get our pictures. There are no buttons to sign in. Edited updated IPad and now it works.
