Word Up, Battle of Words

Word Up is the 2-player word game that you've been missing. Face off with friends and family in this game of words and strategy.
Create words from an expanding board of letters to control territory and score points. Use your vocabulary and your strategic genius to outsmart your opponents in this turn-based game of knowledge and wit.

****The Rules****
-Controlling letters-
1. Each turn, play a word using the letters on the board.
2. The letters you play change to your color.
-Earning points-
1. Control a letter on four sides to lock it and get a point.
2. You can't lock a letter if it's next to a letter your opponent already locked.
-Revealing the board-
1. The board starts with 3x3 letters and expands to 9x9.
2. New tiles are revealed when a tile next to them is played.
-Ending the game-
1. The game ends when all letters have been played or both players pass in a row.
2. The player with the most points wins.
