Should’ve read the reviews
I should’ve read the reviews about pictures not downloading before I paid for the pro version. That’s my fault, but am disappointed that I wasted money on an app that doesn’t work. Stick with the free version.
Word Vault Pro is not free (it costs 59.99), however it doesn't contain in-app purchases or subscriptions.
🤔 The Word Vault Pro app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.

Was super excited at the prospect of this app. I had used the word lists from the website multiple times in therapy before purchasing. After I paid for the pro version I figured out this app doesn't do half of what I want it to. You can edit lists to some extent but it feels like you’re constantly doing “workarounds” to make the app work for you. Can’t easily edit word lists, can’t easily create your own lists by adding photos, can’t create lists of specific words from already existing word lists for one patient. All very frustrating. I have had this app for a few years and still haven’t gotten my money’s worth because of how limited I am in the functionality.
I created Christmas 2019 on my Vault. Still no custom pictures/audio!
The free version of this app shows a game and tools folder, which you cannot access unless you pay for the pro version, which I did, yet those folders don't exist in the expensive paid for version. I'm confused. Otherwise, the app is user friendly and has a large catalog of materials. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for this and my other grievances. Additionally, the pictures don't show for all of the words. For example, when I start initial /s/, the first word on the list is 'sack' but when you do the pull down, the first picture is cereal. This is not the only example of this, either. For as much money as this app costs I expected much better.
I bought this to get an increased variety of stimuli and minimal pair practice. I like the vocalic r and vowels section in the artic. But the vowels section (and a few others) do not come with pictures. The minimal pair section has no pictures and is kinda useless. And you have to download each section of pictures individually. Overall, there are lots of useful word lists and stimuli, but it doesn’t seem worth the money without the pictures already loaded and completely missing in many sections.
This app keeps crashing on me. Very frustrating
In middle of therapy. Phonological stops😡
I love this app, however when purchased the Pro version over a year ago, I never had a problem with the pictures coming up until this year. They just won’t download. I tried problem solving everything and I know it is not the school’s internet because I get the pictures on my phone (while I am also connected to the school’s internet.) I went so far as to email myself all my student’s progress, then took a huge breath and deleted the app! I re downloaded it to my iPad hoping with fingers crossed that was what it needed but to no avail. I now have the app but NO student profiles. I will now have to add all my students again. I will say I emailed Luke, the developer for help and he got back to me with some suggestions but what he suggested still does not work. Very sad in Texas....
For those with no pics in pro, pull down on the word page to see them. Some areas developed than others, but in that same vein of thought, it provides a starting point to help a newbie speech therapist or a family who picks up the app. Seems odd to include topics (like stories), but then only have three. Ideally, you are on an iPad though, so look up the news or a motivational story to keep going. Will look forward to hopefully seeing the makers expand the app in weak areas. Good movement towards being a comprehensive app, just needs more development. I will update my rating, if I see updates over time. I will continue to explore the app, looking for interactive tasks, haven't found them, yet.
Love using this app. I work in an elementary school and this helps with my big groups. My only complaint is that when I switch between players that it doesn't stay on the item that they where on when we go back to them. If possible on the next upgrade can you make it so that it stays on the item that they where on. Thanks & thanks for all your hard work on this app and your website. Lots of great information.
