Word Vault: Vocabulary Builder

I've been searching for an app to learn new words and this is the best I have so far. It will prompt me to review the words that I have searched to make sure I remember it, and it has built-in dictionary. And the developer of the app is super responsive with feedback. 5 stars for sure.

I bought Word Vault and fell in love with it in a heartbeat. This is the best dictionary app for learning and enhancing your vocabulary. Upon opening the app, you are greeted with a very inviting search box and accompanying it is a list of suggested words you might want to look up as you type. If you copied a word prior to opening Word Vault, it will detect the word and paste it into the search box automatically. Every second saved is a second earned! Another great feature is Word Review. It shows you the definitions of the words you have searched in the past and asks you to type out the word. This helps me to really remember new words. Overall, the app is fast and well built. The design is spectacular yet simple to use. I've been using it for a few days and never encountered any weird bugs or stability issues. This is an app I rely on a daily basis and I'm glad to have stumbled upon it in the first place. If you're looking for a dictionary app, I urge you to give this a chance because you would be doing yourself a disservice otherwise. It's worth every cent!

In the review, there are 145 words that come up for review, and I know all of them now. I have more words in the vault, but only the first 145 words ever come up for review. The second problem is that two particular words I have in the vault make the app close every time I tap those words. I think I need an update but can’t figure out how to get it. “App Support” page can’t be found. I would greatly appreciate help with these issues.

I really enjoy this app. I like that it gives you words and an associative picture with it so that you’ll remember what the word is. I also like the fact that it stores those words and pictures so they’re easily accessible if you need to refer to them or need to find a word that fits into a particular part of a sentence. It’s a really really good app. I wish that I gave announcements for new words so that you can build upon that vocabulary. You’ve already started. But overall, it is fantastic to learn vocabulary words, and they have them stick in your mind.

It will collect words, sure. But more importantly, it will help you weave the words you collect into your day-to-day life. This app does good in the world, full stop.

I’ve been using this lovely app for 5 years or so and I have to admit it’s been quite handy whenever I wanted to load numerous new words into my head. But recently, I started to grow an unsatisfactoriness ‘cause against the odd, I encountered some flaws been unable to back to the main page and sort of these weirdness. Hope to get the version I used to love…

My favorite for years

It was a great app and working fine but since the last Apple operating system update the app does not work. I hope someone fixes this.

I always look up unusual words when I’m reading and then promptly forget them, so I was looking for an app that does exactly this! Now I look up a word and then save it and then can come back to my list later. ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT it does not connect to search online when the word isn’t recognized. Otherwise great little app for word connoisseurs. Any plans to fix the bug? Had to bring my star rating down because this still hasn’t been fixed or responded to.
