Love the visuals, ads are disruptive

I have played this game for several years. My only complaint is that there is not enough time to read the definitions of the bonus word. There used to be plenty of time. Why has it changed?

I was very happy using this app several times per day for years. With recent changes, you do not get credit (a crown) after completing a puzzle without waiting for a full minute for an ad. If you don’t wait a full minute you don’t get credit. I have such an issue with this. I don’t like being forced to wait on apps to complete full minute ads. As a formerly happy customer, I will most probably quit using this app. I will find another app that is less intrusive.

I have been playing this game for years, usually while drinking my morning coffee. I have appreciated the toned down approach and lack of game levels to slog through, and no cartoon characters. It’s just a straightforward game that is sometimes easy, sometimes difficult. But I dislike the recent updates! Hate the red “bad word” signifier! What happened to the bonus word scramble? Why add the big “CONTINUE” button that looks exactly like an ad trap?!?! Yeah! I’m old, but we deserve a decent game too! Why mess with a good thing especially when the changes are not going to draw new players.

This was one of my favorite games until the last update. Now it’s just miserable to play. I may get rid of it with so many ads. I understand and accept the need for ads but they now overwhelm the game. I also am not a fan of the new backgrounds and other graphics. I’m sorry to lose this game but it’s no longer enjoyable.

Liked the old app look so much better than this new one.

I love the game hate the ads so I think I will stop playing as it takes the joy out of it to be hit with so many scam ads and junk
