WordGo Reviews

Thankful to have it!

This is a very helpful app especially when we easily be distracted with out own busyness . This app helps to set you own pace to complete each book of bible, be it in grp or individual. One improvement I would truly appreciate is if there is a highlight function to highlight the bible verse and the additional notes created by Wordgo

Love it!

Besides the solid material, I love look of the app and its user friendliness. The only thing I wish is that there was a way to export our completed studies so that we can have a record of our answers when we switch to another book.

Concept and layout is great, with lots of potential but

Works well but a little shallow

This app works well and I think it’d be good for some people. But I think it’s best for discussion groups, which it’s probably geared towards, over something for personal study. For personal study I think it’s a bit shallow and doesn’t really offer additional insights about the scriptures.

Hard to navigate

This is a bad app for those who are less tech savvy. It is not intuitive and it is difficult to view lessons that you have finished and want to review. I wish there was a desktop option for Word Go also. Please make it easier to use.

Too buggy

I wanted to like the app; I really did. I can only get two course offerings, even though I know there are many. And when I tried to start a course, the ‘personal notes’ tab blocked access to the daily work (scripture, questions, notes). The good people in IT tried to help, but we just couldn’t get past the bugs. Bummer.

Great content!, but…

It asks me the user and password every time I restarts the app in the morning. I am going through the pain of remembering my secure password, which is quite long and complex. But enjoying the quality of the content! Thanks.

Awesome, but could be better

I really am enjoying this app. It’s great for those of us who are usually in BSF groups to use over breaks, but also really accessible to share with others who are not in BSF. My main gripe, and something I think could be easily remedied, is that the weekly teaching needs to work like the audio notes. The audio for the weekly teaching has the entire week strung together in a single recording. There’s no way to keep your progress and hold your place for the next day’s teaching, because every time you come back to it the recording starts again from the beginning of Day1 for the week. The audio notes are laid out correctly IMHO, with just that day’s clip embedded in the study for that day. And also, a side note, I really enjoy this format of a little teaching, a little reading and questions, and a little commentary distributed over each day. It’s so much more digestible and comprehensible. I sort of hope this is the format BSF eventually morphs to, although I know traditions are slow to change.

So Annoying

The content is great—I use it very often. The app is not great. It’s not native so it feels like a web page and the UI/UX is sort of clunky. I also cannot stand the fact that a study will advance to the next day even if I don’t mark a day off. So if I miss a day or two or several the plan will go on and eventually say “congratulations you finished this study” when in fact I might be a week or two behind. Every day I have to browse the previous weeks, find the week I’m actually on and then find the study I actually left off on. It’s infuriating. I reluctantly recommend this app to people.
