The application offers the Holy Bible (Text and Audio) in no less than 36 of the most wide-spoken languages of the world: Chinese, Hindi, English, Arabic, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Indonesian, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Italian, German, Swahili, Turkish, Vietnamese, Amharic, Thai, Persian, Urdu, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Punjabi, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Serbian, Czech, Polish, Romanian, Somali. This application offers audio narrations, not dramatized versions. Portuguese narration in European Portuguese.
The application comes with the default in English and all other languages are easily and automatically installed with one click, according to the needs of the user. The text in any language takes 30 seconds or less to download and gets automatically installed, you just need to have your device connected through Wi-Fi or DATA. Audio chapters can be streamed, and heard in any language when you are connected to Wi-Fi or DATA, or may be download into your device for use offline anytime, anywhere.
The audio download is available book by book, which means that even if you have limited space, you can download a book (i.e. Genesis), use it for awhile, and then uninstall it and download a new one - this can be done in any of the 36 languages available with both text and audio. If you have plenty of space in your device, then you may download the whole Audio Bible - if you wish to.
To use the audio continuous play option more effectively, please note that you should set the app to continuous play. Usually in iOS devices, the screen needs to be always on for the audio continuous play to be in effect. In that case, we also recommend that you use the brightness level to adjust the brightness to a minimum. That way you can enjoy listen to the Bible for several hours and keep your battery. Of course if you plug your device to the power outlet you can listen to the Bible all day…
The purpose of this application is to make the Word available to as many people as possible, so new languages might be available in future versions.

Thankful for the Word Project
I’m very thankful for the use of this app and for the developer’s work to created it. I appreciate the Audio narrator, the continuous play option, and the option to download files for offline use. A few things I do notice and would like help with are how when I select the menu to view the chapters, of any book, I don’t see any numbers. I can swipe up or down and hear movement but not see anything change. There’s a grey bar where the selected chapter might be and the rest of the page is white. I’ve typically use the backward or forward chapter arrows or a combination of that a guessing where the scroll might land on the chapter menu. I use it on an iPhone 11. Thank you! I hope this may help me and of someone else. I really do appreciate this app and use it regularly.

I like the app. There are problems with the Malayalam Audio version with regards to the pronunciation of some words. I also wish it was possible to adjust the speed of the audio.

I love the app for many reasons, multi language allow me to define the meaning more accurately, I read in English and in Arabic, sometimes the translation gives a different meaning I use the audio wile I’m driving to work, It would be great if it will continue to read the following chapter automatically, But I do appreciate the existing of such app that keeps me close to the word of God by a tap of my finger God bless.

Great App!
I am thoroughly enjoying this app; I have used WordProject for years, especially to listen to the Bible as I read along as an aid in learning German and French. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish the program would recognize and keep my spot. Each day that I reopen the app, I have to click through to get to the right chapter in the Bible. That isn’t so bad when I am reading, say, Job 2, but it will be pretty irksome when I get to Psalm 125, and I have to click 125 times to get there!

This Bible App, has all the features that any Bible reader looking for. Specially the languages this app has are very helpful.
Speaker
The speaker has a clear and easy to listen to voice. His pronunciation of the Hebrew language is what I listen for.
