Words of Wonders FAQ
Is Words of Wonders free?
Yes, Words of Wonders is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Words of Wonders legit?
🤔 The Words of Wonders app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
It was okay at first, but gets way too easy with all the hints, fireworks, letters greying out after a short time, and with no way to turn the hints off! They just auto hint for you. Not enough of a challenge for me. It’s fine for a few minutes, but part of doing these kinds of games is to exercise the mind…not waste it.
Fun, but art is “AI” generated
From the “Eiffel Tower” scene in the 840 range:
- Sign on the tower has garbled text
- is that sign attached to the tower, or to the pole that isn’t attached to anything on the side of the road?
- The road markings are nonsensical and inconsistent
- Street lights are incomplete and not connected
- A light pole has traffic lights even though cross traffic is impossible
- the “city” ends at the tower, leaving an empty skyline
- what is that in the middle of the road? It looks like the inside of a car door
- cars in the background on the left start taking up the bike/protected lane
- does that car on the right have three tail lights on each side, or two?
That’s what makes me say this is generative art.
👍✌️🤘
It is not too easy but not too hard. It is 🤩
Want to love this game but can’t
This game seemed very fun at first with all the extra effects, hints, and hidden words (for the hippo bank). That said, it’s very repetitive; pattern repeats from puzzle to puzzle. I’ve also only ever stumbled upon the “weekly challenge” when there were less than 24hr left on the clock. I play this game daily so I’m not sure why a weekly challenge wouldn’t have shown up from the beginning of the week. Lastly, the AI art is disheartening and unethical.
Awesome
Good game
Not bad
Word placement algorithm needs a major upgrade. I solve most puzzles without reading the word list, or even the words being highlighted, because the words are all always in the same places. Would be much better otherwise.
I LOVE THIS GAME
I absolutely love this game, while other people say that “ it’s boring” and other stuff. It gives me a bit of a challenge and I have something to do when I am bored. I don’t know how other people do not like this game, if you don’t like then don’t bother to write a bad review. I’m on like level 70 and I am having so much fun that there’s like different places of the world and it’s really fun. If you don’t like this game then play other word search games. This is the best word search game of all.🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍
Fix your issues and I’ll rate higher
I think it’s rather ridiculous that, for the Apple Arcade version, that if you close the “butterfly” level, or don’t complete it immediately after you’ve completed the bonus level, you won’t get your prize. I also had the fireworks not activate despite filling up the hippo bank on the previous level and being ahead on the number of banks I filled. Support also seems non existent for this game.
Meh
I agree with other reviewers stating that this game is not a challenge. It is a time killer and doesn’t require an internet connection, so that is a plus, but it’s not going to last long in my phone. Already on level 119 and bored with it.
Same Puzzle Everytime
This game only goes for patterns. Once you know the pattern you don’t even need to read the word search. You can literally drag your finger where you think the word is and get it. I think there’s been one puzzle out of every one ive played that has given me a challenge
