Horrible UI

We are using this as a test group at work, and this the most unintuitive interface I have ever used.is a good concept but the execution of the app is horrible. I hope we don’t start using this app needs completely overhauled

Horrible app

If I could give zero stars, I would. My company has been using this program for about a year now, and it has been a horrible experience from day one. Everything you do is so SLOW. Tap a button, and its 5-10 seconds before it responds. Trying to search for a job, I have to type the job number in, set my phone down and do something else for 10 minutes. By then, MAYBE it will have found it and I can clock in. Now, after the most recent update, I cant clock in at all. I click the button, it blinks like it knows someone clicked it, but the next screen never loads. Haven’t been able to use it for a week or more.

Big problem

The update has broken the ability to clock in or out. Pressing either choice now on WorkMax 2.2.40 on out time clock iPad app no longer launches the next screen. Please hurry out an urgent bugfix and notify users ASAP. Software is currently unusable.

If you can avoid using Workmax as a whole, do

Every experience I’ve had with this time clock app over the last 2 years has been horrible. It feels like a beta release of an app that will never come out, I would be ashamed of being a programmer that worked for them. It never loads correctly on the desktop site, the app has other issues as you can see from all the other reviews. For a program in 2024 that’s as simple as a time clock, it’s inexcusable.

Terrible UI

Ease of use is sub par, too expensive, clunky. There is far better out there

If it’s not broke don’t fix it

WorkMax2 interface is horrible compared to WorkMax the original, no idea why you switched platforms. Biggest gripe is you can’t enter click in/outs consecutively. You have to wait a minute in between inputs. This wasn’t an issue with the original WorkMax.

Many benefits!

I use this everyday to clock in and out of work. Super helpful and love the mobility on my phone. Also the data syncs fast and the interface is simple and user friendly. I’d highly recommend!

Decent improvements

Thanks for the following: 1. Removing that terrible splash screen 2. Not deleting the entire log in number when hitting the backspace key 3. THANK YOU FOR REMOVING THE SMALL AND TUCKED BUTTONS IN CORNERS Please put back the following items: 1. Either add back the month view for timesheet review or add an arrow to go back and forth days on the menu. No one likes to hit a drop down and then select a day if they don’t have to. (EDIT: I found that you can select multiple days on the time sheet and then just click once to expand the times!) Please add the following items: 1. Let me remain signed in to the app on my device, or add fingerprint or Face ID recognition for the default employee ID. What does Remember Selected Employee do in the setting menu? 2. Is there a way for the company to remove all our personal information from the entire company directory? I don’t need people showing up at my house that I don’t know. Especially when they know I’m at work and not at home. 3. Another feature that I’d love to see added is some kind of GPS recognition. If I leave a certain radius of a job site and I haven’t logged in or out it would be awesome to get a notification. Thanks for the vast improvements!
