Works great. Would be interesting to know how the calculation is done for kcal. The native Apple Workout app cant run at the same time so i am not sure if the calculation is correct (then again, who knows if Apples Workout calculates correct….)

This is a stand alone app
This is just another workout app. You aren’t using the Apple Watch app when using this, so you can’t track your workouts in fitness.
Works as expected and is great!
Shows your watch workout info live on your phone screen which is very helpful when on cardio machines. Love that heart rate zones are color coded so I can quickly glance and tell what zone I’m in. App is robust where you can minimize it on the watch or phone and it continues to run. I minimized it watched a YouTube video, pulled it back up and it was still running. After your workout it writes the workout data into the stock Apple fitness app. It doesn’t seem to have the ability to write how long you are in each heart rate zone like the stock fitness app does. Other than that this is huge and it’s embarrassing that Apple’s own app can only do screen mirroring when you are cycling. To the app developer - way to provide more functionality than a multi-billion dollar company!
CAN’T use any other apps with this
I am still looking for what I missed in the description, but a major disclosure is missing to me. You don’t only have to start the Apple Watch app as well as the phone app (is disclosed), it must be in the forefront. This means it does not fit my use case. I wanted to use my normal workout app while on the treadmill and use this to show my heart rate from my watch on my phone propped up on the machine.
Can’t do this with this app. Probably works for someone who wants to use this as a primary workout app but it lacks MOST features of a typical
primary workout app.
I have politely asked for a refund since I deleted the app with 30 minutes of purchase.
Hope this review helps others.
Not working……
Don’t buy it. Waste of money.
Perfect… almost
Does everything I truly need/want it to do. Some additions I would like in the future;
Have the ability to see the elapsed time I am in each heart rate zone. Why; During my bike/walks, they are normally in zone two but take me a bit to get my heart rate up for the workout. It would be nice to get the exact time in the zone.
Heart rate alerts when dropped below or going above a certain range.
Otherwise, thank you for the simplicity!
Pickleball workout
A choice of pickleball workout would be a nice addition.
