Workplace Chat from Meta

Very efficient platform to communicate on. Doesn’t lag and very simple to use. Highly recommend over facebook messenger or any other app. 10/10 for me.

I have it set to badge only and they at times dont show

Have struggled with it for a year now. Many glitches with the entire platform. Problems range from the simple ones (eg not being able to start new conversations with people you’ve not messaged before as it stalls the app) to major issues (eg pdf uploads not being able to be viewed outside of a tiny preview or downloaded at all from the app itself.) Poorly thought out and unfinished service that feels like it’s been rushed out to compete with others. Over all a poor way of communicating with colleagues.

Basically Messenger for work, except notifications don’t come through. I have an Apple Watch and am signed in on PC. PC makes a sound, watch vibrates once, no sound at all from iPhone. Have tried messing with all the settings, cannot get it working!

I find sending photos through iOS photos app direct to chat always fails and have to use in camera app to successfully send photos. Due to not allowing worchat allowing access to all my photos sending images is tedious.

Keep closing down & loggin staff members out

Great way to stay connected with team mates and even better that it was in use during lockdowns in NZ. Great tool for all walks of life and workplaces around the world!

Please add a search function inside the chat to search for a keyword like on fb messenger 🙏🏻

App usually works fine with few issues - but why is it a separate app? Why not build the functionality into the chat tab of the main Workplace app (which currently just opens a screen telling you to download Workplace Chat).

Where is love up? I feel like I’m kindergarten.
