World Clock - Local Time

Widget for any time zone

Published by: Andriy Gordiychuk

Description

Time & Sun is a world clock that tells you the local time in over a million places around the world, from the biggest cities to the tiniest villages.
If you're in business, this app's essential for calling other timezones at the precise local time. You might have to call across the US when it's 10am in New York, then have a teleconference with overseas colleagues at 3.30pm Paris time. Use Time & Sun to make sure you phone at the exact local time, and don't miss a vital call from abroad.
This app also gives the sunrise and sunset times for every location – handy for outdoor enthusiasts, or if you're lying on a beach and want to plan your evening.
With today's global economy and affordable holiday travel, there have never been so many people globe-trotting at any one time. Simply tell Time & Sun where you are, and you can check if friends and family are awake to call or Skype.
Time & Sun has every location available in Google maps. It also recognises place names in other languages used by Google maps; for example, if you enter "Лондон", which is the Russian name for London, you will get the results in Russian!
Features of this app include:
• Support for all iPhone and iPad formats
• Immediate Daylight Saving Time Changes worldwide
• Find the exact time in over 1,000,000 cities, towns and villages
• Ability to rename locations, e.g. change your home town to “Family”

Great App. Simple but great

Gerry Graff on

Australia

This app is pretty good. One of the best I’ve seen. As I live in Australia and I need to see the “day/date” a city is in, this app does that in a clean, simple interface

Widget doesn’t work in new iOS

Have to pay to even view times

rwswaw on

Australia

Tried to view time in Tulsa and was told I had to pay.

Not in default cities? Prepare to pay to alter!

App comes preloaded with four timezones. You can delete them for free but you can’t then add 4 to replace them with out paying. Other reviews have said you need to pay for EACH city you add but I didn’t even get that far. How is it even a free version for all users if if limits you to specific timezones that (perhaps) only business types would use? Oh and let’s not forget that once you’ve deleted the original cities you don’t seem to be able to add those back without paying for them either... yeah.... There is another app that looks almost identical and is free for the first few timezones and then only a few dollers for the premium for an annual fee. Seems like a much better deal to me!

Garbage

RGeeinOZ on

Australia

Stuck with useless cities. Can’t see any reason to pay for more

Avoid

Carl109 on

‘Free’ version comes preloaded with 4 cities, but too bad if you don’t happen to live in one of them; you have to pay extra just to add your home city. If you can’t even edit cities to add your home zone without paying extra, it’s useless.
