Why even bother with an app to show different time zones when you can't even get the zones right? Sweden and Norway are 1 hour apart, they are not in the same time zone. Laughable.
I see you have converted this app to become free, but with advertisements. There is an option now where you can pay in order to skip the ads in the configure screen. Normally I am fine with this kind of solution. However, I already paid for this app in 2014, and now I have to pay yet again to remove the advertisements? It's not about the money, but rather the principle that I am a bit upset with. The only reason why I give more than one star is that I think that otherwise, your app is really good.
Easy to see the times of important cities
Clocks work great but not Home Screen lock
Quite a helpful app, would’ve been five stars, but SO much stuff needs the user to have premium.
Complications are still mostly broken, you never get what you want on the Apple Watch on any face. Instead a placeholder text or icon appears, despite paying for the app. I’d be happy to continue using it but the Apple Watch part is the most important part for me.
My guy is deployed far, far away! This app makes me feel closer to him, and also helps me know when it’s best to text, so I don’t wake him while he's asleep from his busy days. Thanks so much for making all this possible! Love the widgets. Love the colors indicating “likely asleep” and “at work” Premium for 1 year was worth every penny. Best Time Zone App in the Store!
I use this app every day, it is by far the best world clock app I’ve used. It’s invaluable to my job as I work with teams across the globe.
We checked out a number of apps in anticipation of crossing the dateline for a winter getaway, and World Clock came out the winner by a large margin Although we are thousands of km from home, we like to stay in touch with family, friends and neighbors who live in three other time zones. Add to that Zoom calls to North America, the UK and other European countries and keeping track of scheduling everything is a nightmare. Enter World Clock which conveniently installs as a widget on our devices and the problem disappears. We created a list of all the cities and time zones we need to reach from the extensive built in library, and can instantly see with a glance, both the time and the date for all of them. What really ups the usefulness of the app is the built in calculater in the paid version. Once you know the date, time and place for any meeting, you can input the data and the app translates the information for each city on your list to their local time and date. No more missed calls or meetings as we search the web trying to determine what time 7 pm Friday in the Netherlands is in Auckland NZ. (it's Saturday 7 am by the way) We are also pleased to report that a query to the developer met with a quick response and answer. You can even buy the app outright if subscriptions are not your thing. As we said in the title, if you travel and like to stay in touch with the rest of the world, do yourself a favor and pick up this handy utility. 5 stars.
