World Phone

I used to use the App fine, but then couldn’t log in. I deleted the app and reinstalled but now I constantly get “sign-up failed, please try again” when I enter my phone number. I have been trying for months and it just doesn’t seem to work. Shame because I need it for business!

I used this app in Hakuba Japan and it was absolutely brilliant on wifi and using a data only SIM card that I purchased at the airport on entry. I was able to make local calls to restaurants, hotels and booking offices. I could also call Sydney to check on my mum via her mobile and with the office for a very, very low price per call

Had for about 3 years. It has around $30 in credit in it. Mostly glitchy and unpredictable but for last 3 months have been unable to use at all. Have emailed on many occasions and although Rob is quick to respond nothing changes and the app is a huge disappointment.

I use Snapchat calling now given its free and works much better than World Phone.

Has worked well from Canada to New Zealand. Very Cheap high quality audio over local telco roaming systems! No more reliance on finding free WiFi spots, or buying cheap phones in each new country. Cannot recommend enough

Used this app when in Fiji to call the family. Crystal clear. No hassle. Used the free minutes and would happily pay to use again.

Nothing new about this app.

This app and its administration is virtually a scam. Doesn't function. Tutorial is nothing more than a tour of the limited features and functions. I deleted it by accident, re-downloaded and it fails to honour the call minutes purchase. It's RUBBISH.

Took my iPhone with the world phone app to the US for some extensive travel over a 6 week period. Gotta say I won’t be using anything else when I travel, previously I stuffed around in phone shops sussing out the best local deals , and in the US there are so many variances around data , SMS and calls , so many plans its not hard to buy the wrong one. But doesn’t happen with World Phone , faded it on my partners and kids phones and it was all good.

Worked as they said it would. Seems pretty seamless moving in and out of other countries. I am renting two overseas numbers. No additional sim. Well done. Keep it up.
