Every update to the integrated rule book requires you to delete the app, reinstall, restore purchases and then re-download all the assets you had before. I reported this problem five years ago, and have reported it many times since, and it is still there. The RYA developers are simply too lazy to fix it.
Just a bad PDF viewer unless you spend £10, which it then seems to give you rule definitions when you click on some words. Pointless app - just download the PDF from the website and use iBooks. iBooks works much better
