Among the Wikivoyage apps this one is not the best in terms of layout, but it does what it's designed to do. The app itself needs to be updated more often to have the latest content. The info in the current version is already several months outdated. I hope the developer will continue to issue updates.

I like this app

Monimooner on

I have used this guide for four years and find it quite useful. I have traveled since the 70s and back then Lonely Planet was only in its infancy and not in every country. Most of the time traveling then you learned what to do and where to go via talking with other travelers. With today's way of travel where anyone with a phone can find a place or book and see their room online before they arrive...well, let's say it has dropped the Mystery out of traveling. That said travel is still great but a lot more people out there doing it. Toms app was a great find and although there is not info about every knock and cranny it does quite well. The one thing Tom that would be nice is to have your maps so that they could be blown up larger and maybe a bit more definitive other then that it works for me. Cheers!

This is my favorite travel app

I have this used app in over 30 countries and it has been extremely useful. This is the first thing I check before knowing where to stay or what to do. I love the fact you don't need to be online to access everything. It's very well designed and has tons of great info. Thanks!!

Great

I've been all over the world and this app is rarely wrong or outdated. A must if you are constantly going to new places.

This is the only guide that I use when traveling. It has information on everyplace I want to go in the world and it’s all available on my iPad without internet.

only 50 page views are free, nagging reminders about it at every click

Pie pikachu on

Only 50 pages are free, but the continuous nagging will make sure you wont read even the first 10. I am removing this from my ipad. As you can imagine, it's a heavy app. Looks like reading saved web pages. Nothing other than cascading pages of dry facts. Not an easy reference tool. The few photos look like thumbnails. The only saving grace is external links, but then you need Internet connection.
